About Michael Cool, PA-C

Michael Cool, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant at our East Cobb location. He assists Ben Barden, MD, providing physical exams, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, implementing treatment, and educating patients about pathologies.

Cool earned a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training, as well as a Master of Education in Human Performance, from Georgia College & State University in Milledgeville, GA, before going on to earn another Master’s degree—a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies—from the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL.

He has experience in the clinic setting, as well as on the field (having served as a high school football athletic trainer) and in the classroom (having served as a lab instructor at GCSU).
