Dr. Caleb Elder is a board-certified orthopedic physical therapist who is committed to giving his patients superior evidence-based care to return them to strength training, running and sports activities. He has developed the sports-specific knowledge and crucial skills to return athletes to the field and court with confidence in their ability to perform.
On top of patient care duties, Dr. Elder has modified and developed a series of rehabilitation guidelines for athletes recovering from surgeries. He has presented at conferences on topics revolving around the injured athlete.
Dr. Elder’s dedication and focus in Sports Medicine stem from being an athlete himself on the University of Georgia rowing team as well as his extensive time spent working with the sports medicine teams supporting UGA’s men’s basketball and football programs.
When not cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs, Caleb enjoys staying active by running, biking on the greenway and weightlifting. Outside of the gym, you can find him hiking and exploring the great outdoors with his wife Diana, and their two dogs, Nala and Luna.
