Dr. Travis Jones is a highly-trained foot and ankle surgeon who specializes in the diagnosis, treatment and management of sports-related injuries and disorders of the foot and ankle. A graduate of the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, he completed his residency in podiatry at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
Dr. Jones treats patients of all ages, and uses the latest non-surgical, conservative and minimally invasive surgical treatments to return patients to function and restore quality of life. Dr. Jones has extensive experience serving the Cherokee County and North Georgia communities, and serves as a team physician for Cherokee County School District Athletics and Reinhardt University. A former collegiate soccer player, Dr. Jones is passionate about returning patients to activity and understands how sports injuries can affect both performance and daily life. He has clinical interests in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery for post-traumatic deformities, foot and ankle trauma and diabetic limb salvage.
In addition to providing patient care, Dr. Jones has taken part in numerous podiatric research projects, and has presented his work at both Ohio State University and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He has acquired conference certifications for both basic and advanced podiatric reconstruction courses, and has assisted teaching classes in both Florida and North Carolina.
